Mathematics
Our mathematics curriculum is based on the White Rose Maths scheme and aligned with the National Curriculum and the DfE Ready-to-Progress criteria. All pupils follow the same annual structure, whether taught in single-year or mixed-age classes. Teaching is adapted to ensure pupils meet age-related expectations and secure essential mathematical knowledge.
To develop children's mental fluency and knowledge of number, Oldfield runs Mastering Number (EYFS and KS1) and Number Sense for (KS2) in addition to discrete maths lessons.
