Domestic Abuse Advice

 

No-one should suffer from domestic abuse. If you feel that you are, please read the following advice.

Domestic abuse is one of many incidents where one person is being controlled, coerced, threatened, degraded or a victim of violence experienced in the home. The abuse can be from a partner, ex-partner, a family member or carer.

The victim of domestic abuse can suffer from mental, emotional, physical, social and financial adversity. The abuse will also have an effect on children and other family members.

Lots of advice and help is on offer. Services offered include legal, financial, housing and counselling.
