An exciting year awaits the children in Year 4. We will be studying Roman Civilisation, World War II and the Digestive System to name just a few! Our termly curriculum maps will give a more in depth look at the upcoming topics for each subject and the vocabulary lists will allow you to support your child’s learning at home.
Mrs Barbosa (Y4O)
I studied Primary Education at St Mary’s University College and am now entering my seventh year in teaching. I am going into my fifth year at Oldfield Primary School and have previously taught for two years in another local school. Since working at Oldfield Primary, I have spent 4 years working in Year 6 and now, alongside teaching in Year 4, I am Phase Leader for Lower Key Stage 2 and also lead PSHCE and behaviour across the school.
Miss Arrowsmith (Y4L)
I studied Primary Education at Bishop's University in Quebec, Canada, and I am currently entering my second year of teaching. I previously taught in an Indigenous year 6 class, located in a northern, remote fly-in community of Quebec, Canada (you can only access this town via airplane). I am bilingual in English and French Canadian. I have an affinity for the Dramatic Arts and History. I've always moved around and I am excited to be teaching in London!
